ABOUT US

Dublin City Choral Union was founded in June 2018, under the artistic direction of Duncan Brickenden. With over 90 members, the choir prides itself on its symphonic sound and energy, performing repertoire which ranges from sacred motets to large scale oratorio, gospel, and beyond.

The choir performs twice a year, with recent works including Schubert 'Mass No.2 in G Major', Haydn 'Kleine Orgelmesse', Mozart ‘Missa Brevis in Bb K275’, Handel ‘Zadok the Priest’, ‘O Praise The Lord With One Consent’ and ‘The King Shall Rejoice’, Hummel ‘Mass in Bb, Op. 77’ and Wesley ‘Ascribe Unto the Lord’. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 19:00-21:00 in St Ann’s Church, Dawson Street, Dublin 2.
